Itty Bitty Ballerina

Lucy has been taking ballet for the past year now and had her first recital back in May.  Now, it was a lot of overkill for 3 year olds, but super cute none the less.   The theatre was celebrating 50 years so there was plenty of introduction and tribute and dances from past students that are now like 50, but anyways... I'll let you guess my tone with that sentence.  :)  When the show finally started with  current students, we only had to wait a few dances before seeing these little ones...





All the preformances before had been older children, so when these girls came out, the whole audience "ooohhhed and ahhhed" and giggled.  I mean seriously, how cute are they!?!?






Lucy was awesome starting out, knowing the moves and being on cue.  However, as the dance continuted, she became more and more aware of how many people were actually watching her and became slightly stage shy but bounced back and finished strong!  :)  Afterwards, her fan club was waiting afterwards with lots of hugs, and kisses and flowers!






Big brother was so proud too!



And can't forget Papa...




Lucy was rocking her make-up.  It's a little embarrising seeing her all made up like that, but she LOVED it, of course!



So now our big decision is dance again this fall or gymnastics.  And after watching the Olympic gymnastics we're may be dreaming of gold!  :)  lol
